Management Buyout

Management buyouts are a long established exit route as an alternative to a trade sale for business owners in many jurisdictions around the world. In many of the markets covered by i-DealNet, members are familiar with advising vendors and management teams on buyout transactions, whether backed by the vendors or by third party Private Equity or other investors.

A management buyout can offer a management team the opportunity to achieve financial reward far in excess of what they can earn as a salary. For most management teams, a chance to acquire the business they manage is likely to occur only once in a lifetime so it is vital to get it right and give it the best chance of success.
